Aloha friends, welcome. Well...now that you've made the commitment to come to Maui and get married...and you have told (or not) your family, friends and co-workers... what's next? If you are planning a large wedding and reception, you are welcome to call me to perform your ceremony and I can also refer you to the most professional wedding coordinators, photographers and videographers on island. You have probably noticed by now that there are so many choices, which one will you pick? Is one better than the other? Well, that is hard to determine, I can however, share my experiences with you and refer you to those that I often work with. If you want a simple ceremony on a beautiful beach on Maui with just you two or maybe with a few members of your family and friends, a Minister, we can do that. No worries. I will assist you in getting you through one of the biggest days of your life with ease and grace. I am happy to speak with you both and advise you in preparing and personalizing your ceremony. I truly believe each ceremony is a blessing, it is an honor to be your Minister, allowing me to participate is a gift. I will help you to focus and identify what is personally important for you to say and have said as individuals and as a couple in your ceremony. I will be happy to send you some sample ceremonies to assist you in getting started. Please read the sample I have included below to give you an idea of what your ceremony could be like. Use this sample as a place to start. One word of advice if I may, this is your ceremony and you can include any and everything you want. Remember, these are the words, your vows, that you can later refer to in both times of joy and struggle.
After the ceremony, you will receive a certificate of marriage and a keepsake copy of your ceremony.
Mahalo, it's an honor to be a part of your ceremony,
Abundant Blessings, Rev. Juddee

Welcome and Introduction Aloha and welcome. We are here to recognize and celebrate the spiritual union that has already taken place between ____ and ____ . It is the Love they have for each other that unites them. This commitment of love to one another is an act of faith and a personal commitment as well as a spiritual and physical union. No words can really unite two individuals, so the words we impart celebrate this loving couple. I invite all of us to open our hearts to joy. This miracle of love, which we are here to witness today, shall evermore inspire us to trust in Love.
Lei Blessing and Exchange (Optional) I have created a loving lei exchange that the couple exchanges as part of their ceremony. I also include a symbolic lei ceremony for family and friends who can not attend.
Ceremony of Bitter and Sweet (Optional) A beautiful and spiritual ceremony symbolizing the four cornerstones of marriage (see photo)
To the Couple Your marriage will be a great adventure, because it is an outward expression of the great love you have for one another. Such love is characterized by compassion, passion and courage. It is one of life’s treasures to find a person who accepts you for who you are and gives you the opportunity to feel good about yourself. Allow the gratitude in your heart for each other to become the foundation for your marriage vows. Thank each other for helping you find the best part of who you are and for letting each other share it. Appreciate your love, your wisdom and your understanding. Blessing and Exchange of Rings May I have the rings, please. These rings, by their shapes, are symbols of Eternity, without beginning or end, and are true emblems of the endless spiritual love that links you now, spirit to spirit and soul to soul. A ring also signifies Completeness. Each of you was complete in yourselves before your partner came into your life. The Blessing Upon the Marriage

May their joys and sorrows, their pleasures and duties, be met in a spirit of understanding, fortitude and wisdom. May their home be a place of rich affections and kindly actions. May it be a shelter from life’s storms and the enduring abode of life's deepest happiness. By the authority vested in me by God and the State of Hawaii, it is my honor and delight to pronounce you forever joined in Marriage. Amen. You may seal your covenant with a kiss!
